The Central Oregon Golden Retriever Club was founded by a group of passionate Golden Retriever lovers who wanted to create a welcoming community for both dogs and their people. Based in the heart of Central Oregon, we celebrate the Golden’s trademark qualities - loyalty, intelligence, and joyful spirit - while fostering connection among owners, breeders, and enthusiasts.

Our members include families with their first Golden, experienced handlers involved in obedience or agility, and lifelong fans who simply can’t imagine life without these dogs. Together, we share knowledge, support responsible ownership, and provide opportunities for education, training, and social activities.

Beyond being a club, we are a community. Whether it’s gathering for group walks, hosting training and educational events, or simply enjoying the company of others who love the breed, our mission is to strengthen the bond between people and their Goldens while enriching the local community.
